Nov 25, 2006 · I got a WRT54G Wireless-G Broadband Router and I was trying to set it up and everything was going well till I hit the part in the set up wizard where it configured my internet connection and I keep getting the message that the router can not connect to the internet and to switch the modem on and off and try again, I've tried it 5 times and it So I do thatand it installs the program. I hit set-up and it starts. First thing is it says that my desktop (which is wired through my current router) does not have an internet connection (which it obviously does). So then I hit next (as it says) and it asks me what router I am trying to install.
