May 31, 2014 · I changed the proxy IP to a different torGuard server. It does take a while to kick in but eventually it seems to go. BTW, using the proxy.torguard.tg URL does not work. I have to enter an actual IP. Wireshark was showing DNS queries when I tried the URL but evidently they were unsuccessful. Don't know enough to shed any more light on that one. You can also navigate to TorGuard’s IP detection site for validation and dnsleak.com or ipleak.net to perform DNS leak tests. If successful, the sites should report the IP address of the TorGuard server configured on the OpenVPN Client page.
